Just outside of Ephesus there’s a reconstructed home that some believe to be the last home of Jesus’ mother, Mary. It has become a place of pilgrimage for many, though there are others who believe she spent her last years in Jerusalem.
There is a stream that run under the house, where you can drink from the holy water. There’s a prayer wall right next to that, and plenty of greenery. Very pretty, quiet, peaceful.
